We are currently seeking a Software Engineer - Simulation (m/f/x) to join our team for a permanent position at K-tronik, supporting one of our clients in the aerospace & defense sector. Interested? We’re looking forward to your application!

Tasks:

- Design and develop modules in simulation/validation frameworks
- Write Rust code for high-performance simulation
- Build tools for automated test coverage and fault injection
- Work closely with different teams to capture requirements
- Debug and profile simulation performance
- Maintain documentation and testing infrastructure

Qualifications:

- Professional experience in the aerospace sector
- Write modern, maintainable code
- Experience in simulation, testing or robotics frameworks
- Comfortable with complex systems and concurrency
- Care about reliability, performance and safety
- Like working on the interface between software and hardware
- Motivated by fast feedback loops and real impact
- Hardware-in-the-loop or real-time simulation experience (nice to have)
- Knowledge of flight dynamics or control systems (nice to have)
- Familiarity with CI/CD for simulation systems (nice to have)
